The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
